Employment Personal Advisor
Our client, a Charity Care organisation has a fantastic opportunity for 2 Employment Personal Advisors to deliver engaging employment support activities as part of the new Working for Carers programme. This project is jointly funded by the Big Lottery Fund and the European Social Fund.
Full and Part time opportunity availble
Your focus will be on delivering engaging activities that enable unemployed and economically inactive unpaid carers aged 25 and over across Hounslow, Hillingdon, Ealing, Harrow, Brent, Barnet, Enfield, Haringey, Hammersmith & Fulham to address their personal barriers to entering, returning or sustaining employment. These tailored activities will include one-to-one support, peer and group activities and time-limited in-work support to enable sustainable employment.
We are looking for warm, outgoing, highly organised people who are able to effectively manage a varied workload. Successful candidates will also have previous experience of having secured sustained employment outputs for beneficiaries. As the post holders will also provide direct support to unpaid carers across Hounslow, Hillingdon, Ealing, Harrow, Brent, Barnet, Enfield, Haringey, Hammersmith & Fulham. it is important that they have experience of providing practical, emotional or therapeutic support to vulnerable/high need client groups and a good understanding of the needs of carers and the issues they may face.
Applicants must be willing to work outside of office hours to manage service delivery at sites across Hounslow, Hillingdon, Ealing, Harrow, Brent, Barnet, Enfield, Haringey, Hammersmith & Fulham. (as required) and undergo screening appropriate to the post, including checks with past employers and the Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS).
Fixed term contract until 30th September 2017
