Executive Personal Assistant (Not for Profit sector)

Lloyd Recruitment Services are seeking an ethically minded, highly organised PA / EA for a new Director within a reputable Charity Sector/ Not for profit organisation. In return, you will be rewarded with competitive pay, and a rewarding role that offers an extensive range of employee benefits.

Duties & Responsibilities

- Build strong relationships with internal audiences, enabling good communication with other departments and volunteers.
- Provide a PA and administrative support service for the Director in her work throughout the organisation.
- Provide an office management function ensuring that office systems and processes run smoothly whilst improving as appropriate.
- Paper and Electronic Diary Management and Travel coordination
- Attend and service meetings with the Director including producing agendas, meeting papers and minutes.
- Ad-hoc duties
- Manage and action all correspondence (internal and external customers) and action all correspondence (by email, letter or phone) to the Director, flagging priority issues.
- Operating as the chief point of contact in the Director's absence and dealing with queries and issues as appropriate.
- Handling highly sensitive data and maintaining confidentiality/ exercising judgment and discretion
- Support other members of the Director's Senior Team as far as is practical and appropriate

Essential Skills & Experience

- Must be a driver with a car, due to location of the office
- Degree or relevant equivalent experience
- Experienced EA / PA at Director level
- Diary planning and making travel arrangements
- Servicing meetings
- Experience of managing and completing projects
- Experience of managing an Office.
- Excellent communication skills
- Excellent attention to detail
- Ability to deal with a wide range of both internal and external customers.
- Assertive with the ability to work under own initiative
- Minute taking
- Setting up office systems and processes
- Highly organised
- Building and maintaining relationships
- Service delivery and customer orientation
- Teamwork and cooperation
- Flexible and adaptable

- 25 days annual leave (33 including bank holidays) rising by one day for each completed year of employment up to a maximum of five extra days.

Salary: 26,500-28,200 DOE

Hours: 35H week (Because of the nature of the role, the post holder may be required to work additional hours to ensure the proper performance of the duties and this may mean that the post holder will work in excess of normal business hours. No overtime is payable but with the prior approval of the Chief Executive the post holder will be entitled to time off in lieu)
