Sales and Logistics Co-ordinator

Qualifications, Skills and Experience:

- Ideally educated to A level or equivalent; or established/proven experience in similar position/environment as required by the position.
- Proven experience in a sales support and/or a customer service position.
- Preferably with experience of using the ACT! CRM package.
- Experience & an understanding of the haulage business would be an advantage.
- An effective organiser with initiative, drive and a lateral thinker able to multi task and ensure tasks are finished in full and on time.
- A team player used to turning their hand at tasks presented with appreciation and consideration, taking ownership to ensure the Company delivers.

Main Duties:

Sales & Marketing:

- Management of the Company's CRM system, managing and updating new business leads and contacts.
- To be one of the central points of contact for business and customer enquiries.
- Supporting the Sales Executive in the planning and management of the deliveries, liaising and organising the haulage to fulfil order requirements.
- To support the Sales Manager and Sales Executive in compiling quotations, sending out Company documentation and handling Customer enquiries and queries.
- To reinforce and improve the Company's customer service.
- Competently communicate with both existing and prospective customers, by telephone and in writing; always using appropriate Company templates/formats to ensure brand consistency and professionalism.
- To conduct follow up customer satisfaction surveys/courtesy calls as appropriate, and support in marketing campaigns and tasks, making regular courtesy calls to ensure data is current and accurate.
- Support and liaise with the Accounts Administrators to ensure all prices are up-to-date.
- To represent the Company at all times, handling all visitors and callers in a polite and appropriate manner.
- Respond and action as appropriate to any enquiries; verbal, written, email etc.
- Must be well presented at all times.
- To log any customer complaints/issues, ensuring that they are dealt with effectively/appropriately, providing feedback to the customer where/as appropriate.
